Triple bypass

My quick three day trip north has been extended. Dad had triple bypass surgery on Tuesday at St. Mary's in Duluth. He is not recovering quite as quickly as we may have hoped but he is improving. They stopped the sedation late this evening and we were able to communicate a little with him. He is still on the ventilator but they are hoping to take that out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and concern. We truly appreciate it!

I was able to take an hour or so each of the past two evenings to get out and shoot a few photos. Duluth is such a photogenic town! I'll apologize now for the color, I'm working on Tom's laptop (thank you honey!) and the monitor is not quite what I'm used to (I'm so spoiled at home!) so I can't really tell but I think it's off a little.

Glad to hear your dad is improving.

I have to say that your photography really impresses me. You've come so far in just the few years I've known you.

I'm so sorry that I haven't really asked what was going on, as I knew something was up.
May I just add my prayers and blessings to the many I know you and your family are already receiving regarding your father's health and recovery!

May you always be overwhelmed by the grace of God, rather than by the cares of life.

Change

It's not so much that we're afraid of change or so in love with the old ways, but it's that place in between that we fear.. It's like being in between trapezes. It's like Linus when his blanket is in the dryer. There's nothing to hold on to.
